Happy New Year!

I'm pretty excited about creating in 2022.  Especially since my studio is all set up and ready for me to use.  I did a deep clean on New Years Day.  I gift myself a great wet mop that will help me clean up after a messy clay day on a regular basis.  I also got an air purifier for the studio to assist with the dust.  

The Mister made my Christmas when he hired someone to fully insulate the studio, so now the temperature can be regulated year round!  I have a mini split in there, so cool air pumping out in the hot Columbia summers and heat on the frigid-cold days like today... we woke up to 32 degrees.  Ugh.  Temperature control is very important for pottery, not just the potter.  If glazes freeze they are ruined, and the process to getting them usable again is not something I want to try.  If clay freezes, that's also not good.  So, a comfortable 70 degrees year round sounds good to me.  

Well, I'm off to create my first items of 2022 in my comfortable and clean studio space!  I'll keep you updated on my progress and cool new projects I'm starting!  Trying my hands at making some lamps this year!  Stay tuned!
